ABOUT C.E.O.A.P.B.C.

Code Enforcement Officers' Association of Palm Beach County (CEOAPBC) holds monthly trainings at various locations throughout the county. Training is generally approved for F.A.C.E. continuing education and is no additional cost to CEOA members. The annual membership fee is $27.00. Training Topic:   Mobile Food Truck Event Safety for Event Planners

Speaker: Chief Chris Henry, Assistant Fire Marshal, Palm Beach County Fire Rescue

Agenda:  Chief Chris Henry is the Assistant Fire Marshal for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.  The Fire Marshal’s office covers all of “Unincorporated Palm Beach County” – approximately 1,700 square miles in addition to 18 municipalities within the County.  He has been with the County for 4-1/2 years.  Prior to coming to work for PBCFR, Chief Henry retired as the Assistant Fire Marshal for Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue in 2019 after 25-years of service.  He also retired from the US Air Force Reserves in 2010 after 27-years of service.  He has been inspecting food trucks for over 8-years and created this class due to dangers that are associated with the trucks and the events

Notes:              ALL ATTENDEES MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS 

  • 1 1/2-DAY Training Program to obtain state qualification from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Stormwater, Erosion, & Sedimentation Control Inspector Qualification Certificate Program.   
  •  Electronic Copies of Course materials will be provided for each attendee via email confirmation link after registering.  
  •  You will not be required to use your camera during the training! All attendees will be in “Mute Mode” upon entry, you can “Unmute” yourself after each session to ask any questions that you may have. You only need to register with your basic information to be able to see our screen and hear the presentation. 
  • FL Licensed General Contractors will earn 8 CEUs 
  • FL Licensed Professional Engineers will earn 8 hours PDHs.  FL P.E.s are self-reporting by providing a copy of your passing certificate to the FBPE office. 
  • FL Association of Code Enforcement (FACE) officers will earn 8 CEUs by your providing a copy of your passing certificate.
  • FL Drinking Water and WWTP Operators – Earn 8 hrs through DEP 
  • Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) – ASFPM will grant 10 CECs
